"I will take any weather, rain or shine." Vicki Hildebrand ready for Plum Coulee Town Wide Garage Sale

By now, many of us know that the first Saturday in May is Plum Coulee Town Wide Garage Sale!

It's an event that Vicki Hildebrand has been organizing for the last 15 years.

"We just explode the town with excitement and get to see all of our neighbors and friends again because they come out from winter."

While you don't need to get in touch with her, Vicki mentioned it's better to be added to the list, than not.

"Then you know where to start to shop, you know, okay well, this street or bay has a lot of garage sales, I'm going to start here. Then just work your way around town. You will see them. If you don't see the list, you will know where the garage sales are because you know it's a little crazy on some of those streets. But it's worth going."

If you're worried you'll be hungry while you're shopping, The Centre on Main has you covered.

"The center on Main is once again hosting a fundraising lunch, this year it's for Plum Fest which is always great in August in the town of Plum Coulee. You can have your little pit stop and I'm sure there's a few little lemonade stands and cookie stands that the children put up at their parents garage sales, too."

The Town Wide Garage Sale is this Saturday, May 4th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
