Altona town council's youth councillor's term has expired.


Alec Klippenstien served two years representing the youth of Altona.


Klippenstien served on the community and social development committee.


He says his duty was to give a youth's perspective on issues and represent the other young people of the town.


Klippenstien adds his favourite part of serving on council was figuring out the mill rate for the taxes for the year.

 

He says he may consider running in the future.
