The Mennonite Children's Choir has arrived back home after spending two weeks in Brazil.

Conductor Helen Litz says one highlight was singing at the Melodia Festival with other children's choirs.

She says after their performance they recieved a standing ovation from the audience.

Litz adds another highlight was being cheered out of the concert hall after one of their other concerts.

The group was also scheduled to perform in Paraguay but due to trouble with the airline they had to change their plans.

The choir will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2007.
