For fans of the classic 'Hee Haw' television show, you can get a similar fix of entertainment, live in Winkler.  'The Yee Haw Show' is a tribute to the T.V. classic.

Singer and organizer Sara Neufeld says she's always been a fan of 'The Hee Haw Show,' and the idea to put on a tribute has been in the back of her mind for a number of years, and she thought it was time to bring it to light.

"I thought we've done the Dolly (Parton) tribute shows a few times, and it's always been great.  But I just wanted to add something a little different to it to keep it fresh and interesting for people who haven't seen the show before."  Neufeld says the show will be a good mix of entertainment, featuring tributes to some old time country stars and some comedy.

"This is a whole new and different show, something different than we've ever done before.  The stage will be a three tiered stage...no matter where you're sitting you should be able to see something.  There will be no intermission, as we want to keep the momentum going."

Neufeld said plans are to donate any profit of the show to Genesis House, and other local charities.

'The Yee Haw Show' takes place at Winkler's P.W. Enns Centennial Concert Hall, Saturday, October 1st at 7:30 p.m.
