Around 80 different artisans filled the Access Event Centre community hall and spilled out into the mezzanine Saturday during the the annual Holiday Craft Sale and fundraiser for the Pembina Hills Arts Council (PHAC).

A long standing event in Morden, the craft sale featured all kinds of home decor, jewelry, scarves, blankets, mitts, etc.

"The craft sale," said Cathy Lone, board member for the PHAC, "was well-organized by previous board members."

Part of each table rental and the 50/50 draw was collected to fund the council's annual budget. The craft sale is one of the largest fundraiser for the organization every year. This time around, approximately $4,000 was raised.

"It's an opportunity for all the "crafters" in the region to come here and sell their work," said, programs and outreach coordinator for the PHAC, Margie Hildebrand.
