The Southern Manitoba Concert Series has released its 2006 season program.


The season which begins in October is full of family entertainment.
 

President Darlene Derkson says members of the Von Trapp Family will be performing thier last season, the WSO is returning for Christmas,  and Canadian Brass.
 

She says a local performer, Rosemary Siemens is also appearing.
 

The Von Trapp Family is the family the musical The Sound Of Music is based on.
 

They will be performing for their final year.
 

Derkson says with the Von Trapp Family as part of the season they hope to raise numbers in subscribers to the organization.
 

She adds they are aiming for young families to join.
