The Morden Fire Department is investigating a fire inside the bathroom of a mobile home, Wednesday evening around 6:30pm.  Fire Chief Andy Thiessen says the residents noticed smoke coming from under the closed bathroom door.  He says they managed to extinguish the blaze with water prior to their arrival.  

Fire crews ventilated the home, and made certain the fire was out.
    
Thiessen says the residents were fortunate the fire happened while they were awake, noting the smoke alarm was removed from the ceiling.
