The people of Morden had no idea they were experiencing the nicest weather in Manitoba on Sunday.

Suzanne D'amours with Environment Canada says the weather station in Morden cannot determine records quite yet because the weather station has not been around long enough.

She adds without a more extensive period of time, records may be set almost every day there is extreme temperatures.

D'amours  says the normal high  temperature for this time of year is 14 degrees.

On Sunday, Morden hit 28.6 degrees, 14 degrees above normal,  making it the hot spot in  Manitoba.
