Marie Hildebrand is heading up the Lowe Farm Spring Fling Vendor and Craft Market this Friday (May 10) from 4-8 pm.

Hildebrand says that although they are a small community, the talent is impressive.

"We step it up. We have good involvement and a lot of talented people around here. We want to show it off and we want people to come and check it out to see our crafters and vendors.”

The show will include talent of all ages, with items including anything from homemade steppingstones, to fishing lures.

“We have a girl who's going to be doing resin-made keychains, and bath bombs, homemade soap, organic coffee and list goes on and on.”

Hildebrand says there will also be delicious baked goods for sale, and new to the show, a 50/50 draw. All funds raised will go to the Lowe Farm Friendship Centre, to support the senior citizen community in Lowe Farm.

The last time Lowe Farm had a craft and vendor sale was 2019, but due to the pandemic, they took a break. Hildebrand says they are excited to get back to it.

“This group of people is so very talented. You never know [what] kind of talent is close to you. So, this opens doors for them and exposes it to other people.”

The Lowe Farm Spring Fling Vendor and Craft Market takes place this Friday at the Lowe Farm Friendship Centre, 4-8 pm. Everyone is welcome. Dainties and coffee will be served.
