Volunteers at the Rhineland and Area Food Bank sort food donations Wednesday night

Farm Credit Canada's Drive Away Hunger happened Wednesday night in Morden, Winkler and Altona with dozens of youth collecting non-perishable food items for the community's respective food banks.

CFAM Morning Shoe Co-Host Chris Sumner volunteered, for the first time, at the sorting/receiving station for the Rhineland Area Food Bank, and was joined by fellow first time volunteer Sheree Wahl after nearly 5,700 pounds of food was sorted.

FCC Drive Away Hunger first-time volunteer Sheree Wahl. A big thank you to all the volunteers and youth who participated Wednesday night in Altona, Winkler and Morden.

Thousands of pounds of food were brought in which will help those less fortunate and in need in our communities.
