The effect of a devastating tornado touchdown was simulated in Morden tonight.
The Southern Emergency Response Committee, along with the Morden Fire Department and the Boundary Trails Health Centre, are hosting a mock disaster exercise at various locations around the city. The exercise began at 6:00 p.m.

7:40 p.m - Anhydrous leak reported at Superior Propane at 31 Jefferson St. in Morden. Evacuation notice for everyone 1.3 km Southeast of accident site.
7:26 p.m - Dozens of volunteers simulated injuries at the parking lot at Access Event Centre. Fire and Ambulance on scene. Bus overturned. Crews working to extricate volunteers from inside vehicles.
