A Rocha Canada's Pembina Valley Interpretive Centre hosted Francis Lavigne-Theriault of NZP Chasers last week for a chat about the thrill of storm chasing. NZP stands for Near Zero Probability referencing how Francis has had some of his best chasing days when there has been a near zero probability of storms forecast.

He was asked what attracted him to chasing int he first place in about three years ago.

The University of Manitoba student from Lorette says it was a trip to the Grand Canyon with his father, and a subsequent detour, that sparked his interest.

Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner was at the event, and asked Francis whether storm chasing is dangerous, and how his team mitigates the risk.
