Carman Area R.C.M.P. responded to a total of 5 motor vehicle accidents Sunday, 4 of those mishaps occurring within a span of just 4 hours.
A 14 year old youth was sent to hospital after the dirt bike he was riding was struck by a car.
The mishap occurred Sunday evening.
R.C.M.P. say the youth crossed a highway at the intersection of Road 34 West and Highway 3 and was thrown from by the bike after being hit by the vehicle.
He was transferred to to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and released from hospital.
Meanwhile, at about 5:38 Sunday evening a grain truck rolled about a mile south of P.T.H. 3 near Morden.
A second single vehicle rollover occurred just north of Culross in the R.M. of Grey.
At about 9:10 that same evening, a grain truck collided with a mini-van about 2 miles North of Winkler.
Only minor injuries reported in that incident.
Police also report a boating accident at Stephenfield Provincial Park where a 40 year old Carman man was struck on the foot by a boat propeller.
He was taken to Carman Hospital for examination and later transferred to Winnipeg for further treatment.
