Officers attended and were greeted by the female tenant who advised that her boyfriend and another male had been fighting inside. It was clear that all had been drinking to varying degrees. The boyfriend was highly intoxicated and no longer welcome. He was lodged in custody until sober and released without charges.

Then at 5:19 a.m. officers were called to the same apartment by the female tenant requesting assistance removing the second intoxicated male from her suite. The male, found by officers to be highly intoxicated and disoriented, was removed from the building and lodged until sober. He was also released without charges.

Officers located the source and upon attendance were met at the door by a familiar female who had a strong odour of beverage alcohol on her breath and appeared to be quite intoxicated. She denied drinking and explained the yelling by saying she kicked her boyfriend out “a while ago”. The woman, who was released on a recognizance four days ago on conditions not to possess or consume alcohol, was arrested for breaching the recognizance. She was lodged in custody to sober up at the police station, and then released on a single charge of Breaching a Recognizance.

September 30th: A 15 year old student, who did not appreciate the opportunity to be dealt with by school authorities after committing an assault, has been formally arrested and charged for the incident. The incident occurred when he and a group of supporting students cornered another student in school and punched him in the face. The supporting students and their parents all met with school authorities who successfully mediated the situation. The student responsible did not cooperate, became a threat and bluntly stated he would do it again before storming out. The accused has been released on a Promise to Appear accompanied by an Undertaking, bearing conditions not to attend within 100 meters of the residence, school, place of employment or place of worship of those named on the Undertaking.
