Big yellow placards with a large 'A' can be seen dotting the local landscape this weekend, inviting the public to take a peek into the creative spaces across the region. It's time for the 17th annual Pembina Valley Studio Tour.

"We're again inviting people to come and check out what it looks like when there's a creative working in their own space...in our own studio's mess with paint and perhaps lots of clay on stuff on the floor" said Susan Pharoah.

For the artists, noted Pharoah, the annual showcase is about demonstrating the excitement of how it feels to create, and to show people how they are working through their art.

This year, there are 27 creative artists and several galleries included in the tour.
