The Pembina Valley Humane Society now has a bigger and better building for stray animals.

Founder Michelle Budz is thrilled to have the new facility on Grant street in Morden.

Budz says they have been busy cleaning the place, but are looking for volunteers to help them in any way they can.

She adds this humane society will be set up to resemble a home environment.

People will be able to come in and play with the dogs and take them for walks.

The kennels will also be slightly different, with open fronts so you are able to touch the dogs without the wire getting in the way.

The Pembina Valley Humane Society's building is thanks to John Weins, who also donated a sign.
