The goal of the Morden Adult Education System is to help people receive their high school diploma.

They held an open house Monday for people to come in and gather information.

Director Ron Lyman says the biggest misconception of the center is that it is just for people who cannot read or write.

Lyman says they have a Stages program starting up in January to help people with below high school literacy skills.

They have several schedule options to work with potential students.

They hold evening classes, have classroom delivery on certain courses, independent study is also an option which enables students to come whenever it suits them.

Lyman adds to make things easier they have free child care during the day.
