The new moto-x track is undergoing a few touch ups before Sunday's race.

The first race on the new facility is being highly anticipated by local motor sports fans.

Spokesman Vaughn Stephenson says everything is in place and finishing touches are being put on the new canteen.

He adds dust has been a problem on a few tracks this season.

So they've been getting a head of the game and have been watering the track since Tuesday night.

He adds the track is unique to the old track as it was designed by local riders and is rider and spectator friendly.

Stephenson says getting to the first race has been a lot of hard work but he enjoyed seeing all the volunteer help that made this possible.
