Carman Collegiate boys and girls won the Zone 4 championship banners on their home golf course Tuesday afternoon. 

Ryan Orchard (72), Ben Chornomydz (84), Reid North (85), Carson Park (86) and Gavin McCallum (87) finished with a 241 aggregate total which was four shots better than Keston Worley (78), Zane Sheldon (82), Bailey Cousins (85), Josh Ryckman-Guilford (94) and Keenan Yaschyshyn (103) of Morden Collegiate. 

The three best scores were used to determine the team aggregate.

India Young (89), Keira Krahn (95), Rylee Nykyforak (112), Shaela Hayward (117) and Taylor Raynard (123) recorded a 296 aggregate score. Kylyn Shindle (119), Brooke Henderson (123) and Danika Botterill (129) of Portage Collegiate were 371 and finished in second place. 

Ryan Orchard's one-over par 72 was the low round of the day at the Carman golf course. 

Carson Inman of Portage Collegiate was next at five-over par 76 and Sully Ross of Sanford was 77.

Eleven boys teams and four girls teams competed in the Zone championships.

The MHSAA's Provincial High School Golf Championships will be held Friday, May 27th at the Minnewasta golf course in Morden.
