Reid Dyck will take part in Hockey Canada’s virtual four-day Program of Excellence goaltending camp from Tuesday through Friday.

The 16-year-old Winkler product, who was selected in the third round of the 2019 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft by the Swift Current Broncos, had a 17-4 record, a 2.26 goals against average, a .931 save percentage and two shutouts with the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League’s Pembina Valley Hawks this past season.

Typically serving as the initial evaluation stage for summer development and selection camps for Canada’s national men’s teams, the online camp will focus on goaltender development and evaluation through online evaluation.

Online sessions will include goaltender development, mental and physical performance, planning for short-term competition, environments for success as well as embracing the role of a back-up goaltender.
