A 77 year old driver of a van died after colliding with a semi yesterday.


Manitou Area R.C.M.P. say the van was attempting a left turn about one mile east of La Riviere on Highway 3 when it collided with a westbound semi.


The 15 year old passenger of the van was taken to the Boundary Trails Hospital, the driver of the semi sustained minimal injuries.


The accident is still under investigation.
