Justin Justice drilled a two-run triple as part of a four-run sixth inning as the Winnipeg Goldeyes downed Kansas City 10-6 snapping the T-Bones' six-game winning streak. Price Kendall hit a two-run homer in the second inning while Wes Long added a three-run shot in the fourth for the Goldeyes who improved their Northern Baseball League record to 25-19. Ian Thomas got the win in relief while Bobby Korecky recorded his sixth save of the season. Long, right fielder/first baseman Kevin West and pitcher Chris Salamida will represent the Goldeyes when the Northern Baseball League All-Stars face the best of the Golden Baseball League next week in Tuscon, Arizona.
