Curling fans will converge on the Town of Morris this week for the 2007 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Deputy Mayor Ruth Murray says it's an opportunity to showcase their new arena facility.

Murray notes the town's volunteer base has come together to make the event a positive experience for everyone.

16 teams will square off for the women's curling title starting Wednesday.

Murray says the influx of spectators should give their local economy a boost.
