The Winnipeg Jets are still perfect on home ice.

Kyle Connor and Nikolaj Ehlers each had a goal and an assist in Winnipeg’s 5-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks Friday at Canada Life Centre.

Paul Stastny, Neal Pionk and Dominic Toninato also scored for the Jets who are 4 and 0 at home this season.

Stastny opened the scoring just 47 seconds into the game and Pionk increased Winnipeg’s lead to 2-0 with a power play goal at 2:23 of the first period.

Andrew Copp chipped in with three assists.

Mackenzie Entwistle had the lone goal for the Blackhawks.

Winnipeg netminder Eric Comrie made 17 saves while Chicago’s Marc-Andre Fleury faced 33 shots.

The Jets (6-2-2) completed their best 10-game start to a season since relocating from Atlanta.

Winnipeg is 2 and 0 on it’s seven-game homestand which continues Saturday against the N.Y. Islanders.
