Two organizations are requesting the R.M. of Franklin council facilitate the designation of two municipal heritage sites under the Heritage Resources Act.

The properties include the Arnaud United Church and Cemetery, and the Dominion City Cemetery.

Chief Administrative Officer Tracey French says council has given first reading to two bylaws to start the process.

Council will hear comments on the proposals at a public hearing August 8th.
