Thursday morning brought another Reeve on the Radio with R.M. of Morris Reeve Scott Siemens. He joined CFAM Radio 950 Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner to chat about a number of items, with a focus on flooding... both the ongoing repairs and costs from the 2022 event, and the cautiously optimistic outlook that this year's high water event will be much less impactful.

"We are fairly optimistic this year will not flood significantly, having said that, with Spring and wet conditions, currently our ditch clean out has been put on pause because of the conditions," he said. "As soon as it dries up, hopefully in the next three weeks or so, maybe sooner, we can begin again."

Siemens noted crews still have about 200 miles of drains to clean up from last year, which is about 50% of what the initial total was. As for culvert repairs, they are down to a handful, with crews continuing to assess any that may have been missed after the 2022 flood.
