The Riverview Golf Club at Morris will hold an annual fundraiser tomorrow.

The event is meant to raise money for the club to help cover repair costs from annual flooding.

Club President Fred Peters says flooding has taken a large effect on the course.

He says this year they were closed at the beginning of the season which is the busiest time for golf courses.

Peters says a lot of money was lost then.

He adds they are only expecting about 50 golfers so he isn't sure if the proceeds will cover the repair costs.

Peters says it takes an extraordinary effort to recover from the last decade of flooding.
