The Red River at Emerson has now dropped more than four feet since cresting earlier this month. Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) has updated water levels for Friday, May 27th.

At Emerson, the Red River has dropped four inches since Thursday to 786.66 feet. It is down 4.14 feet since cresting on May 7th.

At Letellier, the Red River has dropped two inches since Thursday to 783.04 feet. It is down 1.96 feet since cresting on May 9th.

At St. Jean, the Red River has dropped three inches since Thursday to 779.65 feet. It is down 2.15 feet since cresting on May 11th.

At Morris, the Red River has dropped five inches since Thursday, to 777.61 feet. It is down 2.79 feet since cresting on May 11th.

At Ste. Agathe, the Red River has dropped four inches since Thursday to 769.99 feet. It is down 2.21 feet since cresting on May 13th.

At St. Adolphe, the Red River has dropped four inches since Thursday to 766.09 feet. It is down 1.91 feet since cresting on May 13th.

The Roseau River has also dropped at all locations in Manitoba since Thursday. MTI is reporting the following changes on the Roseau:

  • down less than one inch at Gardenton to 967.62 feet
  • down less than one inch at Stuartburn to 950.29 feet
  • down one inch at Dominion City (PR 200) to 781.87 feet

Also since Thursday, the Rat River has dropped five inches near Otterburne to 770.58 feet, while the Seine River is down three inches near Ste. Anne to 832.10 feet.

Meanwhile the following changes since Thursday are being reported in the Whiteshell:

  • Falcon Lake is down less than one inch to 1,067.35 feet
  • West Hawk Lake is down less than one inch to 1,094.62 feet
  • Caddy Lake is down one inch to 1,050.35 feet
