Three people from Plum Coulee are facing a variety of charges following a drug bust at a home in the community Wednesday evening.

During the execution of the search warrant, members of the Regional Support Tactical Team seized a quantity of meth, prescription pills, cash, and other drug paraphernalia.

As a result, a 38-year-old woman has been charged with Possession of Meth and was released with a promise to appear at a future court date.

A 39-year-old woman has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Meth and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Prescription Medication. She has been remanded into custody.

Finally, a 42-year-old man has been charged with Possession of Meth, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Prescription Medication and Breach of a Prohibition Order with respect to firearms. He has been remanded into custody.

In addition, police found other unknown substances during the search and were sent away for testing. Further charges are anticipated when those results come in.

 

Meantime, Altona police are investigating another break and enter at the local liquor store. Several bottles of alcohol were stolen in the incident last week Thursday - the second within a month at the business.

Police are also seeking information regarding a vandalism case that took place on Saturday on the south end of town. It appeared someone spray painted a pickup truck.
