Update at 5:05 p.m. September 24th - The City of Winkler remains under a Boil Water Advisory issued earlier Thursday. Officials have determined low pressure noted earlier in the day was caused by a pump failure at the City's water reservoir. Crews are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

In a message posted to its Facebook page, it was indicated residents can expect lower than normal water pressure over the next few days.

In the meantime, residents are urged to continue to follow the Boil Water Advisory, and reduce water consumption until the City notifies otherwise.
