It's time for another Made in Manitoba, and it's also time for another return visit. The Janzen Boys, who now call Winnipeg home, but still have family ties to western Manitoba, are our guests this weekend.

The Father and Sons trio has been performing together for more than a decade, and it's been quite a few years since the group's last full length-album was released, but that's about to change later this year with a new one coming out, simply titled "Two". Dad, John, plays the acoustic guitar, oldest son Simon takes care of the bass and youngest son Mick is on the mandolin, with all three taking turns singing. "Half Janzen", as John called him with a laugh, Chris Epp plays drums for the group.

The Janzen Boys will be releasing songs from "Two", one-by-one, in the coming months, with the singles pulled together into the album by the end of the year.

And why is the group starting this project now? Because they've made the decision to give the "music life" a go as a full-time gig. We'll open our conversation with The Janzen Boys by asking that question. We'll also talk about the inspiration for this album, and how it came from the challenging times John, Simon and Mick have faced over the past several years as the family has gone through a lot of difficulty and change.

It's the Janzen Boys on Made in Manitoba! Listen below.
