Back to the Bible is celebrating 60 years of Bible teaching in Canada with two special events happening this weekend in Winkler at the EMM Church. Friday night (November 2nd), Laugh Again’s Phil Callaway will have us chuckling aloud,

reflecting and maybe even shedding a tear or two. 7pm at the Winkler EMMC we can see Phil on stage. Then Saturday, November 3rd at 7pm, also at the EMMC, Dr. John Neufeld will be sharing Bible study time with us, and Amanda Stott will perform as a special musical guest.

Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner welcomed Back to the Bible's Dr. John Neufeld and Ben Lowell into the studio Thursday morning, and asked John to give us a sneak peek at Saturday's talk.

Meanwhile, Chris also caught up with Laugh Again's Phil Callaway. It's been a little over a year since Phil stopped by the Morning Show, so the two spent some catching up before chatting  up Friday's event.

Chris also asked Phil, considering all that is going on in the world these days, whether his role in finding the lighter side of laugh and sharing that with us is more importanat than ever.

In addition to those events, a special youth oriented event will happen Sunday, November 4th at Winkler’s Gospel Mission Church beginning at 7pm. Indoubt Live and In Concert will feature performances by Andrew Marcus, Scribe and past Made in Manitoba guest Jordan St. Cyr.

Chris spoke with Andrew Marcus, about his music ministry and how he came to share the word of God.

All three events are free, and all of us are invited to attend. Learn more at Back to the Bible Canada’s website.
