This past weekend St. Joseph held their annual Montcalm Heritage Festival. While people feared for the worst for the weather, the sun came through, and made it a beautiful weekend to be outside and celebrate our Heritage.

While St. Joseph is a small town, there were many activities and events that people could be a part of. There was a pancake breakfast, parade, hypnotist show, remote controlled airshow, baseball tournament, flea market, and many more things to do.

There was also a petting zoo, free Museum Tours, and Tractor & Engine Demonstrations which I thought was really neat. There were a few times where the old machinery made weird noises and I thought they would break down but they never did! They might be old but they’re hardy.

The highlight of my day there were the absolutely giant rabbits they had at the Petting zoo. If you were there, you know what I’m talking about, but if you weren’t, trust me, they were massive.
