Canada Day was celebrated to the max in Morris on Sunday with free swimming at the Morris Aquatic Center, bouncy castles, street hockey, a bubble gum blowing contest, photo booth, cotton candy, free BBQ and cake, a family glow dance party, and of course, an incredible display of fireworks at dusk.

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at the aquatic center where families came out to celebrate Canada Day and the beautiful weather we had, cooling of and splashing around in the pool.

People were mentioning different ways they celebrate Canada Day each year, whether that was at the pool each year, back yard BBQs with neighbors, or taking in all the fun the town has to offer.
