Come in and take a seat inside CFAM Radio 950's Christmas Cafe. Weekdays December 4th through 15th, join us for sounds of the season on the Morning Show at 8:40am when we invite local artists in studio for a conversation and live performance of their favourite Christmas song. Below you can find our Christmas Cafe guests so far. Merry Christmas!

Monday, December 4th

Today we kicked off our "Christmas Cafe" -- a chance to grab a coffee or tea, sit back, and enjoy Christmas music brought to us LIVE in the studio, by musical guests! The Janzen Boys joined us today -- John Janzen, and his sons Simon, and Mick make up the band, and youngest son Joah joined us in the studio too. And John has a unique Christmas story that not many Manitobans can share -- he spent a few Christmases in Japan!

Tuesday, December 5th

It's Day 2 of our "Christmas Cafe" -- music LIVE in the studio, today from one of our past Made in Manitoba guests -- Melissa Plett!! Melissa is originally from Steinbach and has been on the road A LOT this year and was SO happy to make this one of her stops here at home!! Her song choice has a great story behind it... Blue Christmas! Enjoy and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Wednesday, December 6th

Today's Christmas Cafe warmed our hearts, as we welcomed a family into the studio -- The Kandt Family. (Or at least a few members of the Kandt Family). Beyond playing for us a beautiful version of 'Oh Holy Night' on Clarinets and Piano, Christian Kandt, and his daughter Charlotte and son Benjamin shared their thoughts on the true meaning of Christmas, and especially for Christian, the reason why he experiences so much joy this season.

Thursday, December 7th

The coffee is on, there’s seats aplenty and we’re ready to welcome you to another edition of Christmas Cafe on Your Christmas Music Station.

Kenzie Jane was in studio with us Wednesday, guitar in hand.

We chatted with Kenzie about this most wonderful time of year, but first, how about a song... “White Christmas”.

Friday, December 8th

Welcome to the Friday Morning Show Christmas Cafe! We are officially open -- hope you have a coffee! We are going to spend the next few minutes enjoying music LIVE in the studio, and today's guest will have us feeling a little... younger.

Tom and Lori Neufeld of Roland have joined us -- we typically hear them as children's entertainers Lulu and the Tomcat, and while Tom IS dressed up as Santa Claus today, they are here to spread cheer to ALL of the children at heart, no matter your age. So let's start with a song...welcome Tom and Lori Neufeld!

Monday. December 11th

It’s time to grab a cup of coffee, and have a seat in one of our comfortable chairs, and join us for Christmas Cafe. Today we have a family in studio with us, James Friesen and Family.

Dad, James, his son Chris and daughter Sara, and Sara’s husband Anthony. We’ll chat with them right after we hear a song from the group. Today they are singing “Labour of Love” by Point of Grace. Take it away!

Tuesday, December 12th

It was an angelic sound having Jaymi, Stephanie and Lindsay join us in the studio this morning for Christmas Cafe. Jaymi and Lindsay are sisters, while Stephanie is a long-time close family friend. Their bond goes beyond their singing, and they shared some of those special memories with us, including their time spent decorating Christmas cookies!

Wednesday, December 13th

Today, we're going a little country on another edition of Christmas Cafe. Amanda von Riesen was in the studio with us this morning. She is a Manitoban singer/songwriter bringing the sounds of Christmas.

Thursday, December 14th

It’s time settle in, and grab a cup of coffee and enjoy another edition of Christmas Cafe on the Morning Show. Today, a musical treat for all of us, as the young trio of Micah Loewen, Nya Dubyk and Amy Lloyd are in studio... violins along for the ride... to perform as the group JAM’N.

We’ll talk to the students in just a couple minutes, after a medley of Christmas songs. This is JAM’N.
