The annual Decor Cabinets Charity Classic was held yesterday at Minnewasta Golf and Country Club in Morden. The tournament had perfect weather Thursday with lots of sunshine. Morning show Co-Host Chris Sumner had the

chance to tee it up with some of his colleagues from the radio station.

Now while golfing for the day is a tonne of fun, the event is all about raising money for local organizations and groups doing great work around the world.

This year one of those charities was C2C Network which exists to be a catalyst for church planting and multiplication across Canada.

Paul Winter pastors at Living Word Temple in North Winnipeg, and has worked with C2C Network to establish churches across the country.

Pembina Counselling Centre, Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre and Youth For Christ Morden are the local groups which share in the money raised annually.

Chris chatted with John Rempel, Executive Director at Youth for Christ Morden, about the importance of the support received from this tournament.

Participants raised $67,000, and since 2004 the tournament has donated over $960,000.
