Massive Pumpkin Sets New Record at Roland Pumpkin Fair

The annual Roland Pumpkin Fair happened Saturday, October 7^th with the big draw always being the Great Pumpkin Commonwealth weigh-off. And this year was especially exciting, because a new Manitoba record was set, with Charlie

Bernstrom of Lancaster, Minnesota crowned Champion with a giant pumpkin weighing 1,498.5 pounds.

 

The previous record of 1,379.5 pounds had stood since 2011. I had the pleasure of Mcing the event, and spoke with Charlie about the big win.
