A Southern Manitoba hockey mom, former NCAA hockey player, coach and driving force behind the 2017 Esso Cup in Morden has been recognized as a Hockey Canada Ambassador.

Morgan Mullin from Morden was selected after being nominated for the program which started in Fall 2016 as a way for Hockey Canada to recognize volunteers, coaches, and parents dedicating their lives to their community because of the love of the game.

Reporter Dantin Reimer spoke with Morgan about being a Hockey Canada Ambassador, and shared that with us Thursday on the Morning Show.

Dantin and Morgan continued the conversation with her reflecting on why she's passionate about female hockey, and what she enjoys most about lacing up the skates and sharing her knowledge with the next generation.
