It was a hot and sunny weekend, August 18-20th, which was absolutely perfect for the Annual Plumfest held in Plum Coulee. The warm weather brought out many people from all over for the festival, making it turn out to be one of the greatest Plumfest's yet.

There were many events held all weekend. Everything from a waffle breakfast, to a duck race, to Rosemary and Eli’s wedding, there was something there that anyone could enjoy. There was a bunch of free entertainment every day, a bunch of community suppers, and free faspa that everyone could enjoy after the wedding on Sunday.

An event held this year that hasn’t been done before, was a school reunion for people who attended the old brick school that was open from 1931 to 1986. Many people came out and saw many faces that they haven’t seen in many years. There was a display set up with pictures of the old school and memories made in it, and also a silent auction to help raise some funds for Plumfest.

All in all, the weekend was a successful one, bringing in people from all over Canada to enjoy a small town festival.
