I was thrilled to be at Rumble in the valley all day on Saturday, June 2nd. Although the weather wasn’t what was hoped for, it didn’t stop anyone from enjoying the day.

With so many exciting things happening during the day, there was plenty to do for people of all ages. Monster truck rides were a hit and nobody minded the extra bit of mud.

The back yard BBQ competitions were mouthwatering just to watch and the food was absolutely scrumptious! Creamy homemade mac and cheese topped with brisket and BBQ sauce is officially my favorite food.

I had the opportunity to speak to a few drivers participating in the tractor pull who had nothing but great things to say about the event. Many of them came from as far away as Missouri, USA, and from all across Canada.

Not just hundreds of thousands, but also millions of dollars were put into some of these tractors. A driver from Carmen designed, hand made, and built his tractor from the ground up by himself. No help was needed from anyone.

With super loud roaring engines, the name of the event was well suited. An all around amazing day! I'll see you next year, Rumble In The Valley!
