The ground shook and people’s ears were ringing on June 3rd at the Stampede grounds in Morris. The Rumble in the Valley was a hit this past Sunday to truck and tractor lovers.

With over 40 competitors and thousands of dollars to be won, the grounds were filled with tractors and trucks, competing for the number one Spot in their class.

While some trucks and tractors weren’t modified at all, some of them were modified to have four engines all working in harmony to have as much horsepower as they possibly can.

In addition to the Tractor pull, there was live entertainment which started at 9 for everyone who was there to enjoy. There were food vendors there as well, and some of them even served ribs, which I was very excited about.

This year was the first Rumble in the Valley, and hopefully it will happen again next year. Next year I will remember to bring ear plugs!
