Every major sporting event really requires snacks. We're always looking for ideas. Well, we found an amazing idea and a couple of amazing people who put in some serious time to make it happen!! What an amazing spread and all in the form of a football stadium for last night's Super Bowl!! All food credit goes to the chef, Duane Penner.

Now, in case you want to replicate this some day, the field in the middle is actually a layered taco dip... yes, the green is guacamole and underneath was cream cheese, salsa, and refried beans and the lines are made of sour cream.

The chips are on the left and going around clockwise you have pigs in a blanket, beef sliders, pork carnitas, carrots and celery and another pan of sliders... my goodness!! SO good!

And then, the stadium -- created by Trish Penner. She told us that it took an entire afternoon to put together -- logos and all! It's constructed mostly of aluminum foil trays, some styrofoam covered in tinfoil to hold the "bleachers" up... and yes, it will be saved for next year!

Thank you for the creativity and fun!!
