For nearly 40 years, World Serve Ministries has equipped local churches around the world to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their communities. As a non-denominational, Christian ministry based in B-C, but with strong ties to

Matthias Goossen in front of a pastor's house Southern Manitoba, the group works with churches around the world including China, Ethiopia, Cuba and Myanmar.

And it's World Serve Ministries' work in Cuba which catches our attention today, specifically Winnipeg Blue Bombers player Matthias Goosen's recent trip to the country with the organization.

International Projects Director Wilf Unrau joined us in studio Monday to share the World Serve story, and invite us to two upcoming fundraising banquets this week, Winkler March 30th and Steinbach March 31st.

Wilf also gave us a sneak peek at what Matthias will be sharing at the banquets.

Again, those banquets are in Winkler Thursday, March 30th at the Days Inn Conference Centre and Friday, March 31st at Mennonite Heritage Village. Doors open at 6, and you can order tickets right now at 1-800-414-7788.
