It was years in the making, and Sunday afternoon the history book Rosenfeld, Manitoba & Neighbouring Communities 1875-1975 was launched during a special event at the Good Neighbour Centre. Including over 200 historical photographs, and contributions from around 100 individuals, the book covers a wide swath of the community's past and the individuals who lived within its borders.

Committee members Art Wiebe and Lois Nickel Braun stopped by the studio to chat with Morning Show Co-Host Chris Sumner about the book (which was printed at Friesens) and how it got its start.

If that wasn't enough to encourage you to pick up a copy, how about the time Mark Twain visited Rosenfeld. The only way you can find out about that story is to get a copy of the book! It's now available, just in time for Christmas, and can be found at Martel's Garage in Rosenfeld for just $50.
