The first sign of spring was revealed with the bold yellow of Forsythia blooms. Appearing even before the first signs of green leaves. Soon, the welcoming shade of white to soft lavender to bold purple played a role in the landscapes with blossoms from ornamental crabs and the beautifully scented lilacs.
White plays a role this week with the elegant blossoms of the later blooming Japanese Tree Lilacs and white flowering Mockorange. The sweet scent of the Mockorange reminiscent of tropical orange blossoms.
Blossoms from our trees add to the landscape and make a magical backdrop to our gardens – perennials and annuals create a harmony of color alongside.
