Lawn and Garden Journal Header

As local greenhouses begin to hum with the first few weeks’ production, excitement builds with thoughts of getting our gardens planned. With snow on the ground, and a chill in the air, time permits us to begin.

Inventory of seed; either those from the past year’s sowing, or those which were harvested late fall, now become part of a new garden.

Plan to plant!

It is best to formulate a vision of what to plant, where you wish to plant it; as well as how it is to be planted. Plan now as the growing season begins.
