The Miller Aces are Morden Thunder High School Hockey Tournament champions.

Braden Hildebrand scored twice and Andrew Dyck had the other as Miller defeated Sioux Lookout’s Queen Elizabeth District School Warriors 3-1 in the final on Saturday.

The Aces, who won the Neepawa Tigers Slashers Tournament in late October, went undefeated in Morden.

Rory Penner and Colton Harder scored two goals each as Miller downed the Carman Cougars 5-1 and Kirby Sawatzky had two goals and two assists as the Aces beat QEDS 7-1 on their way to a first place finish in Pool #1.

Ryan Geinaert made 36 saves as the Aces edged the Sanford Sabres 2-1 in the semifinals while the Warriors beat the host Thunder 2-1.

Sanford shutout Morden 3-0 in the Third Place game and the Cougars downed the Pembina Tigers 4-1 in the Consolation Final.
