The Winkler Barracuda swimmers travelled to Beausejour for the final championship meet of the Summer Swim season. 37 swimmers competed amongst the 130 swimmers there.

The Barracudas took home 70 top three finishes.

Following the meet, a number of Barracudas were rewarded for their successful seasons within their age groups.

In the 8 & Under category, Scarlett Enns earned first place overall in the girls division while Khyler Sherrington-Voth earned second among the boys. Dawson Penner earned a second place finish in the boys 9 & 10-year-old category while Jace Zacharias earned second in the boys 11 & 12-year-old category. In the 13 & 14 year old category, Kaylea Peters took home third place in the girls division while Finn Soltis earned first and Jack Penner earned third among the boys.

Ultimately, all the hard work and great finishes by this year's team paid off with the team winning the overall team title besting last year's winners, the Neepawa Blue Dolphins, who came in second this year.

Taking home the Summer Swim title brings the team's season to an end for another year.
