Central Energy U14 brought home gold from the the Queen City Classic Fastpitch Tournament this past weekend in Regina.

Alexa Guilford allowed one hit and struckout seven over three innings as Energy defeated the Regina Fighting Saints 7-0 in the final.

Central was perfect in the round robin.

Energy beat Calgary Kaizen 10-0; downed Saskatoon Raiders 11-1 and bounced Regina Lazers 12-2.

Central blanked Westman Magic 9-0 in the semifinals.

Energy U16 had a 4 and 1 record and won the "B" side of the tournament while the Central U12 squad had a 3 and 2 record and were "C" side champions.

Energy teams will be playing in the annual Manitoba Ladies Super Softball League International Classic Tournament this weekend.
