The Winkler Flyers will open up the 2018-2019 Manitoba Junior Hockey League regular season at home against the Neepawa Natives on Friday, September 21st.

The Flyers and the MJHL announced their regular season schedule this week as the Orange and Black prepare for their 39th year in the league.

The Flyers, along with the 10 other teams in the MJHL will play 29 home games and 29 road games as well as two games at the MJHL Showcase slated for December 9-11 at the Seven Oaks Rec Centre in Winnipeg.

Including the Flyers home and home against Neepawa to start the season, Winkler will play three of their first five games at home. Their longest stretch away from home is a five game road swing through Selkirk, Swan Valley, Neepawa and Winnipeg from January 8-22.

The Flyers will play back to back home games against OCN on December 21st and 22nd before taking a break over Christmas but will return on January 4th when they host the Dauphin Kings.

The regular season will end in Portage on Saturday, March 2nd against the Terriers.
